XII INTERNATIONAL BADMINTON
MASTER TOURNAMENT

June 20-22nd 2014

I. GOAL AND TASKS:

XII INTERNATIONAL MASTER BADMINTON TOURNAMENT is held in honor of the tournament’s founder
Atanas Atanasov. The tournament aims at examining the master skills of the participants in the double and
mixed double’s game.

II. DATE AND LOCATION:

The Tournament will take place in Varna Palace of Culture and Sports, 115 „Kniaz Boris І” Blvd.,
on June, 20th and 21th 2014

- Men singles
- Women singles
- Men doubles

- Mixed doubles

2. Categories:

- AMATEURS – players having turned 20 years, never been professional players, never been students,
instructors, teachers in badminton.
- VETERANS:
Veterans – Men 35+
Veterans – Men 50+
Veterans – Women 35+
- MASTERS – players having turned 25 years old and after 33rd place in Bulgarian Championship
Ranking and everyone else who wants to participate.
- ELITE – professional badminton players and everyone else who want to participate, without age
limitations

We rely on your propriety while applying in the foregoing categories!
The groups could be transformed according to number and age of participants.

IV. FINANCIAL TERMS AND OTHER DETAILS

1. This year Sport Club Raketlon provides prize in the amount of 1500 BGN, which will be distributed
among the finalists taken I-st and II-nd place from all disciplines in the ELITE category.

2. Admission fee – 35 BGN per participant (three disciplines allowed – 1 men/women double, mixed
double and single), payments - in cash to the tournament organizer.

3. Hosts undertake expenses for shuttles Babolat (plastic ones), sport hall, medical care, awards and
surprises.
4. Participants undertake travel, daily and hotel expenses.

5. The tournament is held according to Bulgarian Badminton Federation Rules.

6. The Tournament is held in the spirit of fair play and Sport Club Raketlon will not tolerate
unsportsmanlike play or behavior.

V. ACCOMMODATION

For the convenience of all participants, the hosts have negotiated special conditions at:
Hotel „BRIZ 2” ***, only 3km from the Palace of Culture and Sports (route link).The participants may use
the hotel at the prices negotiated by Badminton Club Varna a day before and a day after the tournament.

Price per night in double room BB – 25 BGN per person
Price per night in single room BB – 35 BGN
Grand Hotel Dimyat *****, 100 meters far from Place of culture and sports
Price per night in double room BB – 70 BGN per person
Price per night in single room BB – 100 BGN

Sport Club RAKETLON invites all participants to the official diner party on 21.06.2014г., Saturday, Starting
20:30h by the pool of Hotel BRIZ for awarding the winners and official closing of the Tournament.

All participants should send their applications for the party together with the applications for tournament
participation!

For guests who will attend the dinner without taking part in the tournament, dinner is 25 BGN.
